SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5)-- Arizona’s Family has learned that an Old Town Scottsdale nightclub employee was the patient who tested positive for coronavirus this week.
The Riot House, near Camelback and Scottsdale Roads, released a statement Thursday about their employee, which read [in part]:
The employee was inside of Riot House at 12:15 a.m. and left at 12:19 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, and had very limited interaction with customers and staff. The employee was also inside of El Hefe Scottsdale on Sunday, March 1, from 11:48 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. The Maricopa County Department of Public Health has reported to us that because of the small amount of time that the employee was there, and had very limited interaction with customers and staff, there is absolutely no health danger at either location.
The Maricopa County Department of Health and the Arizona Department of Health 北京福彩官网 did not immediately respond to inquiries on whether other customers or employees in Scottsdale were tested.
Health officials said they are hindered by privacy laws from commenting on the details on who the patient is or in which HonorHealth facility they were admitted.
Coronavirus, which is also known as COVID-19, is a respiratory illness that originated in Wuhan, China北京福彩官网. The symptoms are similar to those of a common cold or the flu, including a runny nose, cough, sore throat, headache, and a fever that can last for a couple of days.
